The Nuclear Security Center of Excellence (NSCOE), as a one of the 15 consortium partners, participates in the European Commission’s programme Horizon 2020 (Framework Program for Research and Innovation 2014-2020) project “Innovative Cluster for Radiological and Nuclear Emergencies” (INCLUDING).

The “INCLUDING” is aiming at development and fostering of nuclear security networking and information exchange among European States as well as at provision of capability building support to respective stakeholders. The project officially has start on August 1, 2019 when the grant agreement was signed by the European Commission. Duration of the project –  5 years.

On August 12, 2019 Ms. Rachele Brancaleoni, representative of Sacred Heart Catholic University of Rome (UCSC), as one of the 15 INCLUDING partners, visited the NSCOE and met with the NSCOE team. Participation in the specific INCLUDING working packages where NSCOE and UCSC are involved and other relevant issues of the  project implementation were discussed during this meeting.
